Who am I?
Well my name is
John Alexander Ramsay Campbell.

On the right thats me today in Ash Priors!
After a varied life living and working in Africa and the Far East I came home. I worked with a number of companies before Istarted my own business in 1982 representing a French company. I speak fluent French. My work involved travelling round the UK which enabled me to research both my own and my wifes ancestry during visits to family landmarks and record offices from Aberdeen to Penzance. As the company was computer based I am 'computer literate' and I am fully equipped for repairing old photos and documents that can enhance your family hitory.
I started to research my own family history that started in Aberdeen. Many days and hours were spent doing research in Register House in Edinburgh. My grandfather left Aberdeen for Paris in 1916 and I have done some research in France and his trail lead to the famous Père la Chaise cemetry in Paris where he is buried.
My wife's family history is split between Lancashire and Cornwall. Her family originated in Coverack where her ancestors, the Corlyon brothers, were famous smugglers.
I started to research other peoples family histories about 10 years ago and have worked for solicitors and a variety of families. Below are some recent quotations from satisfied clients.
I usually complete about 8 - 10 histories per year plus of course individual research projects. Great Care is taken in the presentation of your family history.
